About {ABA}

A’Vents by August {ABA} founded in 2009 by Alicia August-Wright from a passion to shape the perceptions of urban neighborhoods. She did so by creating distinctive event experiences and spaces in the community of Chicago that were accessible and authentic to the culture of the audience.

Today {ABA} is recognized for creative full event production + management, floral styling, and event design for local and global brands.

Our Hyde Park storefront design studio (est. 2017) carries home and retail goods, household plants, and our new lifestyle brand, The Honest Hostess.
